Houston designer Chandos Dodson Epley has officially launched Chandos Collective. It’s the culmination of years of experience, expanding Epley’s studio beyond residential design and architecture into art consulting, custom furnishings and home development. “My interior design firm has evolved over the last two decades to include many partners, employees and other businesses,” she explains. “I wanted an umbrella that really celebrated the ethos of it all.” Here, she shares more with Luxe.
What differentiates Chandos Collective? Our team navigates the entire process from construction to finishing touches. We infuse our style of understated elegance into every project, marrying classic details with modern restraint. I’m also intimately involved in each step of the process.
Tell us about your goals. We help curate a home that is completely tailored to our clients. We layer art-historical references into the architecture phase, maintaining the integrity of the structure, while ensuring functionality comes first. We are building houses that stand the test of time aesthetically, while providing the most modern amenities.
Anything else new for you? We are continuing to expand our range of bespoke furnishings and full-scale custom homes from the ground-up. My art advisory company, C2 Art, continues to grow as well. We have offices in both Dallas and Houston and work in 28 cities nationwide.
